The Story

Adjacent to our restaurant Molly’s Place, The Courtyard was once home to the Grenada County Weekly. Today it is used by Molly’s Place guests for pleasant al fresco dining and occasional live music. It is often used for private dinner parties, engagement and birthday parties, and wedding ceremonies.

The Space

With washed concrete floors and stuccoed walls, The Courtyard is covered against rain and sun, but not weather tight. Ceiling and large drum fans and 3 400,000 BTU gas heaters plus permanently installed firepits and portable propane heaters make it comfortable in almost all weather conditions.

The wide shallow stage at one end is often used by bands to offer live music and by bridal couples for their ceremony.

Related Spaces

The Courtyard connects to Molly’s Place and is across Green Street from the Yellow Brick Road, The Hide, The Garden & Patio, the Main Hall, and Miss Emma’s Dining Room is around the corner.
